Hotel Information

The hotel for the 2006 Technology Showcase is the Hilton Galveston Island Resort, located at 5400 Seawall Boulevard, Galveston, Texas. It is adjacent to the Galveston Island Convention Center at the San Luis Resort, the location for the 2006 Technology Showcase.

You can view the hotel’s website at http://www.galvestonhilton.com/  The hotel is on the Galveston Seawall, offers ocean-front views, and is situated on the 30-acre San Luis Resort.

The conference rate of $85/night (single) and $125/night (double) will be offered until November 16, 2006, 5:00 pm. Please reserve your room before that date to ensure that you receive the conference rate. You should use the group code IOF when making your reservations. This rate is the current Texas state per diem rate. Please mention “Texas Industries of the Future” when requesting your room.
