tools of the US Department of Energy's Industrial Technology Program. The
purpose of the Texas Industries of the Future program is to facilitate the
development, demonstration, and adoption of advanced technologies that reduce
industrial energy usage, emissions, and associated costs, resulting in improved
competitive performance. Since its inception in 2001 at the University of Texas
at Austin, the program has offered Energy Management Forums and Best Practices
trainings to over 1,200 engineers working in process industries, institutions
and manufacturing sites.
